Ambassador’s Welcome Message

Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Sekai Irene Nzenza

Ambassador’s Message

Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Paris, France. One of the Embassy’s chief goals is to further promote and strengthen bilateral political and socio-economic relations between Zimbabwe and  France as well as with the other countries to which the Embassy is accredited. Besides France, the Embassy is also accredited to Portugal, Spain, the Vatican City State and the Principality of Andorra. The Embassy is also a multilateral station representing Zimbabwe’s interests at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Bureau for International Expositions (BIE) and the United Nations Tourism organisation (UNTourism), among others.

Zimbabwe’s Second Republic, in its Vision 2030, aims to develop Zimbabwe and attain Upper Middle-Income status by 2030. As part of efforts to achieve this Vision, the Government of Zimbabwe has and continues to proclaim that ZIMBABWE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS. All investors, traders and business entities from across the world are welcome  to take up the trade and investment opportunities offered by Zimbabwe for mutual benefit. Zimbabwe is also OPEN to receive tourists to experience the beauty and hospitality of our great nation. Zimbabwe was recognised as the best country to visit in 2025 by Forbes magazine, so why not explore Zimbabwe!

The Government also recognises its people in the diaspora, fondly referred to by the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, His Excellency Dr. E. D. Mnangagwa, as the country’s 11th Province. The Embassy strives to provide quality consular services to all Zimbabweans and foreigners living in its countries of accreditation. The Diaspora community working, studying, and living in France is welcome to make use of the presence of the Embassy for both personal and business-related issues. We are at your service.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions, ideas and suggestions, or even just to visit. Your comments and advice are most welcome.

I thank you!
